Last Week! (stubc08)

Filed under: Uncategorized — Chrissy at 5:22 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2008

This week was the last week of the blogging competition and I learned a lot about blogging!  I have many widgets on my blog as you can see that include music, lyrics to music on my blog, a map of visitors, a google search bar, a counter of visitors to my site, a calendar, and a glitter heart.  I really enjoyed this competition.  I have had about 376 visitors, 26 posts (including this one), around 31 comments on my blog, around 50 comments left on other peoples blogs, 7 widgets, and around 11 different countries.  By doing blogging it has improved my literacy skills immensely.  I think that I have improved by getting a greater vocabulary and better sentence structure.  I would have to say my best post would have to be the one about the important questions because after I published that post I think that it got a lot of other people thinking about what is really important to them and what they should change about what and how they do things.  I think that I improved the most in they area of just the lengths of my posts because they were all really short before and now they vary in length.  I have learned a lot of skills like how to attract visitors to your blog, how to make a blog, and how to put cool thing on your blog.  It is good to write with a world-wide audience in mind because then you will put more heart into it because more than just you and your teacher will be reading it.

Having that world wide audience is important, so make sure you visit lots of other blogs to leave comments. Thanks for taking part in the competition Chrissy, we will be running another one next March.

Hi Chrissy
Congratulations! Well done for getting 31 comments and more than 20 posts. You should be proud of yourself and how better you are getting at Blogging. :)
I agree, your posts are much bigger and better, with more descriptive and fantastic sentences. I enjoy reading and commenting. This comp has improved my literacy skills immensely as well because I have learned to comment so much better, to attract more visitors, to write meaningful posts that people are gripped into and to make new friends. I have loved this journey and will never forget this.
THANKS SUE WATERS AND MISS WYATT FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY! :P
