International Year of the Reef!
I believe that this is the International Year of the reef because the ICRI International Year of the Reef 2008 is a world wide campaign focused on informing people about the beauty of the coral reefs and also to inform them about how anybody can help protect and preserve them. This topic is relevant to my life because I think that the Great Barrier Reef in Australia is beautiful and I hope to live near their one day. This is also a very interesting topic to me because I think that it is sooooooo cool how all of the fish live in the pretty coral.
