OW! I sprianed my ankle!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Chrissy at 2:09 pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2008

Guess what?  I’m on crutches.  Not fun!  I sprained my ankle in P.E. on Monday and spent like 3 hours in the emergency room.  I can’t have P.E. for 2 weeks and have to use crutches for like 3 or 4 days.  Just wanted to let you know that crutches are very painful.  And today the elevator wasn’t working during 3rd period so I couldn’t go to Spanish class which is on the floor below me, so I had SSR which is just a reading period.

Hey Christine!

I’m sorry to hear about your sprain, hope that gets healed quickly! Thanks for commenting on my blog! I appreciate it. All i know is I wouldn’t mind not having gym for 2 weeks. Ha!

Oh that must have hurt when you sprained your ankle. Did they take an x-ray. Crutches are really uncomfortable to use and not much fun if you have to climb stairs. My son (13) broke his foot in 3 places just before Christmas last year and spent his entire school holidays unable to walk properly (we have holidays from Dec to Feb). Then when he went back to school he was unable to do sport for 3 months because of the damage.

Thanks for dropping past The Edublogger. I’m glad you are enjoying getting the chance to meet people from around the World. Have you got any student blogs in particular that you enjoy visiting a lot?

SSR sounds more painful than spraining your ankle! Also, aren’t you happy today is your last day on crutches?
