This is so cool. There is this beep is so high pitched that adults can’t hear it, but it depends on how old you are. You can listen to these beeps to see if you can hear them. This beep is very popular for kids who like to text during class, but you have to be very careful about it because some adults can still hear it. Yes I’ve enjoyed testing myself using these hearing tests before. Totally amazing that adults can’t hear them. Thanks for telling me you are joining the competition Christine. Definitely will be fun. Good luck.

Oh My God, you are so right!! My brother and I always know when the T.V. isn’t shut off completely because we can hear it and neither of my parents can. I think it’s really cool. I hope I don’t turn into my parents when I get older. haha

It’s surprising and obvious at the same time…I had never heard of it and I was glad I could hear it, but not in a classroom, for sure!
I remember having seen the effect that a certain whistle had on dogs: we heard nothing, but when someone blew it, dogs would come running from every direction; and they all looked happy and in great expectancy as if the sound carried in itself a joyful message.

Thanks for your comment, and I’m SO glad you like my blog! That’s great! So do I, I think your blog is really awesome as well with all the interesting posts you write.
I’ve heard of that noise that adults can’t hear… and guess what? It kinda makes you feel good being able to hear something your parents or teachers or any adults CAN’T hear!!
But I don’t really like the noise, it can get a bit irritating since it is high pitched andc loud.
I shall listen to it for you Chrissy. And I’ll get back to you soon.
